ON 10 APRIL, 2026, AMBASSADOR SUKHBOLD SUKHEE MET WITH MS. BEATE DASTEL, RESIDENT REPRESANTATIVE OF UNICEF IN MONGOLIA, AND DURING MEETING, THEY DISCUSSED COOPERATION ON MONGOLIAN CHILDREN'S EDUCATION, DEVELOPMENT AND PROTECTION OF RIGHTS
On 10 April, 2026, Ambassador Sukhbold Sukhee met with Ms. Beate Dastel, Resident Representative of UNICEF in Mongolia, and during meeting, they discussed cooperation on Mongolian children’s education, development and protection of rights.
Ambassador Sukhbold Sukhee informed that on 28 October, 2024, he presented his Letter of credential to the President of the Republic of Korea and officially commenced his duties, and prior to his appointment, he held positions such as Director-General of the International treaty and law department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Permanent representative to the United Nations and has experience in international law and international organizations.
Resident Representative Ms. Beate Dastel informed of her appointment to the post in last February and experience in Djibouti, Lao PDR and Bhutan and her plans to actively in supporting education and protecting children’s rights in Mongolia.
Furthermore, during the meeting, both sides discussed areas of cooperation in supporting education and protection of rights of Mongolian children and agreed to closely cooperate in this area.
